Turkish partners very interested in cooperation with Slovenian companies

On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, the “Slovenian Day” i.e. investment-business conference was held in Istanbul. The delegation also included representatives of NETS d.o.o., Janez Gunčar, Barbara Gunčar and Aleksander Ključevšek. Investment opportunities in Slovenia and possibilities for business cooperation between Slovenian and Turkish companies were presented at the event. The event was attended by more than seventy potential Turkish partners and investors, some of whom already do business with Slovenia.

We participated in the delegation for the second time, with the aim of strengthening our role in foreign markets and gaining new business partners. The delegation absolutely exceeded our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the visits of interesting companies and a number of new potential business partners. New business contacts in the field of joint investments in new solutions and strengthening of brands, investments in market development show great potential. We are planning the first concrete business agreements, which resulted from the first contacts from the business conference, already in the month of December. Given the optimism of business partners, the first tangible results and concluded deals will most likely be visible as early as 2023. We look forward to further cooperation.

Janez Gunčar, CEO, NETS d.o.o.

The event was organized by the Slovenian-Turkish Business Club (SLOTUR), in cooperation and with the support of the SPIRIT Slovenia, public agency and the Slovenian Tourist Organization (STO). As early as March, the continuation of the business event in Slovenia is expected.
