We have released a new, larger version of DNA that contains many improvements and bug fixes.

Passwords

At NETS, taking care of your data is our priority, so we always strive to maintain the highest security standards. Many real-time improvements are not visible externally because they happen in the background, and this time we decided to upgrade the password storage mechanism as well. Existing passwords will need to be changed. When you log in to DNA for the first time, a window for changing the password will be displayed, and to help you choose a secure password, we have also prepared an indicator of how strong / secure the password is.

Questionnaires and informeds questionnaires

We have developed a completely new module Questionnaires, which is intended for the production of questionnaires and surveys in the company. Questionnaires can be used for satisfaction surveys, quizzes… Questionnaires can also be used when we want to check that employees are really familiar with the document. In the Info point of the document, in the Informeds section, we can create a questionnaire that each employee must solve correctly before he / she is recognized as informed with the document.

Info point and traceability

The info point now more clearly displays all the information we need. The individual components are now displayed in the full height of the Info Point, and you can switch between them via the tabs at the left edge. There are also two new tabs related to rights in the Info Point:

  • Who can read: a list of people who can see the current object and where the right comes from
  • Access log: A list of all accesses to the facility, grouped by person and date

Text editor

We replaced the text editor with a better and faster one. All features are still available, but working with texts will now be noticeably more enjoyable. In addition, it is now possible to save the contents of a text box without closing it – by clicking on the save icon.

Activity stream and avatars

Every day, you and your co-workers create a lot of new changes in DNA: add / edit documents, actions, meetings, write comments, add attachments, amend content… We have combined all these activities for you in the Activity stream, so you will always be up to date with all the news that affect your work and achievements. For an even faster overview of DNA news for all users who do not have a personal photo for avatar, avatar is generated – it uses the initials of the name and surname, and sets a specific color for each user for the background.

More button

DNA is an application that offers a huge amount of functionality and flexibility, but with time and the addition of new functionalities, this has started to show the complexity of the interface. We’ve simplified the command bar so that only the most commonly used buttons are now visible in each status, and all the others are still available in the More button menu.

Advanced export

We have added new functions to the export button: by clicking on the Export button, you can still export the object as before, and there is also a drop-down menu in which you can select advanced export. With advanced export, you can choose which items you want to include in the export and which you want to omit.

Workpost rights

Rights can now also be defined on work posts, roles and interest groups. All employees to whom you assign a post / role / interest group with set rights will also automatically acquire the set rights.

Tree overview of document and model folders

For faster viewing of documents and models, a new tree view is now available, similar to the one you are used to from your operating system.
